Laser Therapy

Laser therapy is used by physiotherapists to help decrease inflammation and facilitate healing of soft tissues

Laser therapy uses light to penetrate through the skin into soft tissues below. It has been used by physiotherapists for over 30 years for the treatment of many conditions.

It can have a significant effect on tissue healing and has been shown to aid in pain relief, reduce inflammation, increase blood flow, stimulate wound healing, stimulate tissue regeneration, and reduce scarring.

As such Laser Therapy can be used on a variety of musculoskeletal conditions and is also commonly used to treat cracked nipples as a result of breast feeding and other injuries that may result from child birth such as tears.
