Running Analysis
At Beaumaris Physiotherapy, our Running Analysis service is designed to take a comprehensive, evidence-informed approach to understanding and improving your running performance, comfort, and injury risk.
At Beaumaris Physiotherapy, our Running Analysis service is designed to take a comprehensive, evidence-informed approach to understanding and improving your running performance, comfort, and injury risk.
Rather than relying on a single snapshot, we combine three key components to build a complete picture of how your body is moving. This includes a detailed physical assessment of muscle length, strength, joint mobility, and functional control; a video-based treadmill analysis of your running technique; and a clinical interpretation that links these findings together.
By integrating what we see in your movement on the treadmill with how your body functions in a clinical assessment, we are able to identify the underlying factors contributing to pain, inefficiency, or recurrent injury. This allows us to move beyond symptom management and address the root causes driving your presentation.
From here, we develop an individualised treatment and performance plan tailored to your goals. This may include strength and conditioning programming, technique modification, load management strategies, mobility work, and education to support long-term improvement.
Our goal is not just to help you run without pain, but to help you run more efficiently, more confidently, and with a reduced risk of future injury.
Please note that all Running Analysis appointments are conducted exclusively by Blake, so please ensure you book with him for this service.
