VALD Assessments
VALD assessments at Beaumaris Physiotherapy provide objective, data-driven insight into how your body moves, performs and copes with load, so your rehab and training are based on facts rather than guesswork.
Using state-of-the-art VALD technology such as force plates and dynamometry, our physiotherapists measure strength, power, balance and asymmetries to identify exactly where you are strong, where you are vulnerable, and how best to target your program. This level of detail allows us to tailor your treatment or performance plan to your sport, your goals and your current capacity, whether you are returning from injury, trying to prevent problems, or looking for a performance edge.
During a VALD assessment, your physiotherapist will first discuss your history, goals and any injuries, then guide you through a series of simple, targeted tests specific to your needs. Your results are available immediately and are compiled into a clear, easy-to-understand report that highlights key strengths, weaknesses and imbalances, forming the basis of a personalised rehab or performance program.
Because VALD testing is repeatable, we can re-test over time to objectively track your progress, fine-tune your plan, and give you confidence in your return to sport or activity.
Please note that all VALD assessments are conducted exclusively by Megan, Jackson or Tim, so please ensure you book with one of them for this service.
